Oh my gosh I was so happy to be back in the world of Emberfall and Syhl Shallow!
Forging Silver into Stars takes place 4 years after the Cursebreaker series and focuses on everyone’s favourite former stable boy Tycho as well as two new characters, best friends Jax and Callyn.
Written with multiple POVs, this is a fast paced spin off from the Cursebreaker series and, although it technically isn’t a requirement to have read the first trilogy, I would thoroughly recommend it. Forging Silver Into Stars makes so many references to the characters’ previous exploits I personally think it would be difficult to follow if you hadn’t experienced them first-hand.
As the first in a new trilogy, don’t let the size of this book put you off, this story is packed full of plot twists, drama and some serious chemistry! It is a serious page-turner! Brigid Kemmerer’s worldbuilding is always flawless but I really enjoyed the insight into the border towns and the lives of their residents and the romance?! Phew, let’s just say it’s a little more spicy than we got in Cursebreaker!!
With LGBTQ and disability representation, a brilliant plot and more magic than even Grey can handle, Forging Silver Into Stars is a stunner of a sequel!
